Once a year on St. Patricks Day this little guy emerges from his hiding place in search of a Pot'O Gold.
Who is he?
The Leprechaun is a Mischievous Sprite.
What does He want?
GOLD!
Why Catch Him?
If you catch the Leprechaun, he MUST grant you 3 wishes!
I asked my 4 year old "if you could have 3 wishes what would they be"
1. Toy Sharks, A lot of them
2. Fire trucks, a lot of them
3. A dinosaur!
I asked my 11 year old son the same question
1. "My first wish would be that my exact commands would come in exact order" (no red tape)
2. "For $2500 V-bucks"
3. "A daft punk helmet"
The other 11 year old son wished for...
1. "None of my wishes to be misunderstood"
2. "$20 Steam Gift Card"
3. "Go to Legoland"
If you were to ask me...
1. "My own island fully loaded with 5 star amenities"
2." Financial freedom"
3. "Teleportation"

You can't wish for more wishes
You can't wish for someone to fall in love with you
You can't wish for someone to perish
Tips for your trap!
He is mischievous so a little reverse psychology may work in your signage. "do not enter" or " do not climb on ladder"
He is very small so your trap doesn't need to be very big.
They love everything shiny and gold so glitter may get them on the right "path"
Remember there is a Pot of Gold at the end of every rainbow so get creative.
He is a schemer and can cause mischief of all kids so be aware that if you are trying to lure him in to catch him and are not successful, he may cause a bit of mayhem.

Shoe box or tissue box
Green construction paper
Gold coins (doesn't need to be real)
Popsicle sticks (sticks of any kind)
Pipe cleaners (you can use dental floss even)
